Candle Making

Making candles is fun and rewarding. It is very similar to cooking. You mix certain ingredients to achieve specific results. If you enjoy creating crafts then you will love creating candles. There really is no limit to what you can create! It’s up to you and your imagination.

If you have never created something then you are missing out on a great feeling of accomplishment. To be able to look at something and say “ I made that!” Is a very nice feeling.

When you light your candle and it’s soothing aroma fills your home, you will know exactly what I mean.  When your friends or family members question you about the beautiful aroma in your home and you tell them, “It is from a candle that I made as a hobby.”  They will want one to use at home. Then their friends and family members will ask the same thing and you might suddenly realize that your hobby could be a very lucrative business!

I will walk you through several examples, from a simple votive to a more advanced grubby electric candle.  I will show you lots of tricks and extremely helpful tips. I will also show you what pitfalls to watch out for.
