Double boiler

Double boilers are very easy to use and operate. In this article I explain why you need a double boiler and what one is!
If you don’t have a dependable wax melter, you will need a double boiler to melt your wax.
Wax is flammable and requires an indirect heat source to be melted properly and to avoid catching fire. It usually consists of two saucepans that fit together. The bottom saucepan is filled with water and the top saucepan is filled with wax. Water boils at approximately 212 degrees at sea level. This prevents the wax from getting to hot and burning.
