Making a grubby candle Method #2
In this article I show you a completely differnt way to achieve a grubby like texture. This method will produce a candle that has a different style to it.For this method you will need a few tapered candles.
How many you need really depends on the size of the candle and the look you want to achieve.
The COLOR of the taper candle will determine the outside texture color of the grubby candle
Place your finished pillar candle on some wax paper as this can get messy.
Light one of the taper candles and simply drip the melting wax from the lit taper onto the surface of your smooth pillar.
Continue to drip the wax in a uniformed pattern until the surface of the candle is completely covered.

Several applications may be required in order to achieve the desired texture. Small chunks of wax can be dropped onto the surface of the candle while you continue to drip the wax from the taper. This can give you a chunkier look to the texture. Once you achieve the desired texture over the entire surface of the candle you can enjoy your new creation.
Now that you have mastered the grubby technique, I will show you an advanced method that can produce some beautiful results
